MOTION AND REST

 

MOTION 

A body is said to be in motion, if it position changes with respect to time.

When we observe the above picture we can see that as the time change the position of the horse also change. So we can said horse is in motion.

REST

A body is said to be in rest if it’s position doesn’t change with respect to time.

In the above picture we can observe that position of horse remains same even if the time is changing. So we can said horse is at rest.
