A graph drawn with time along x-axis and velocity along y-axis is called as velocity -time graph. As shown below

Slop of velocity time graph of a body in motion gives acceleration of that body.
To find slop of graph, draw a triangle ΔABC in inclined line of graph. Then
Slop = AB/BC
Here AB is velocity and BC is the time
Slop = velocity /time = acceleration .
