DIFFERENCE BETWEEN MIXTUR AND PURE SUBSTANCES



Pure substance 

A substance is said to be pure, if it contains only single type of particle. And all the constituent particles of that substance shows same chemical nature. They cannot be separated by any physical process into its chemical constituents.
Eg:- distilled water contains only H₂O particles in it 

Mixtures 

Mixtures are constituted by more than one type of pure substance. Their chemical nature not same throughout. They can be separated by some physical process into their constituent particles.
Eg:- milk is mixture of water, fats, proteins etc
